 Activated sludge wastewater treatment is a highly effective process used to treat both industrial and municipal wastewater. It involves introducing a mixture of oxygen and microorganisms to the wastewater treatment process. These microorganisms break down the organic matter present in the wastewater, converting it into carbon dioxide, water, and other harmless byproducts. As a result, the treated wastewater is free of pollutants and safe to be discharged into the environment. 

 Our fixed-media WWTP is designed as an alternative to the activated sludge process. It also boasts a smaller footprint. A fixed media filter provides a method for microorganisms and bacteria to attach and maintain the process of breaking down the organic matter. This coating of microorganisms is able to trap and consume B.O.D. and ammonia in the water. With its low-maintenance design, our sewage tank provides a reliable solution that requires minimal upkeep.
